SURVEY FINDS MORE THAN HALF OF RECRUITERS DO NOT KNOW HOW MANY QUALIFIED
CANDIDATES ARE IN THEIR ATS DATABASES
CHICAGO—August 11, 2008 – TalentDrive, provider of TalentFilter an on-demand webbased
sourcing tool, today announced the recent findings of its “Online Sourcing
Survey”. According to the survey, 56 percent of the participants in the survey express the
frustration they encounter while sourcing online for qualified candidates.
Seventy-one percent of the respondents currently do not have matching technology
that ranks resumes found on the web. Also, eighty-three percent have not considered
separating recruiting and sourcing.
The survey was conducted between July 15, 2008 and August 4, 2008, with over 7,000
Human Resource professional surveyed.
Additional Key Findings:
• 64% participants do not know how many qualified candidates are sitting in their
own ATS database
• 35% only see better qualified talent from high unemployment rates
• The percentage of job board users not receiving analytics on resume database is
over 60%
• 86% want to source all resumes databases using only 1 tool online, one search
“This survey continues to prove how dysfunctional online recruiting is currently,” said CEO
